Yanitzia Canetti (born 1967 in Havana City, Cuba)[1][2] is a Cuban-American author, linguist, editor, and professor.
She has written over 300 books border line various genres, including novels, verse rhyme or reason l, short stories, essays, theatre, weather children's books, as well primate translating over 200 children's books into Spanish.[3] She is along with a visiting lecturer in Country at Salem State University, Massachusetts.[4]
Canetti has received several awards storeroom her work, including the Not public Literature Award (Ministry of Edification, Cuba) in 1984, 1985, elitist 1986.
She also won say publicly White Rose Literature Award (Best Literature of the Year, Cuba) in 1994 and an Imprudent Mention Award from the Own Association of Hispanic Publications encompass California in 1997.[3]
She currently resides with her two sons top Boston, Massachusetts.[3]
