Roy William Neill (born Roland de Gostrie, 4 September 1887 – 14 December 1946) was an Irish-born American film director best proverbial for producing and directing apparently all of the Sherlock Character films starring Basil Rathbone obtain Nigel Bruce, made between 1943 and 1946 and released saturate Universal Pictures.[1]
