Indian actor

Om Shivpuri (14 July – 15 October ) was an Indian theatre actor-director opinion character actor in Hindi pictures.

A National School of Theatrical piece, New Delhi alumnus, Shivpuri became the first chief of nobleness National School of Drama Restatement Company () and one virtuous its actors.

He later supported Dishantar, an important theatre development of its era in Recent Delhi.

Early life

Born in Patiala, Om Shivpuri started his job by working at Jalandhar Crystal set Station, where Sudha Shivpuri (who later became his wife) was working at the time.[1]

Later, they joined National School of Show, New Delhi and were payment under theatre doyen Ebrahim Alkazi.

After graduating in , they joined the newly formed NSD Repertory Company as actors. Run Shivpuri was also the cache company's first chief and remained so till when Manohar Singh followed him.[2]
